When Guru Nanak Dev Ji came to Karachi he first of all stayed at this place . It is located on Justice Kayani road opposite Karachi Art Council. Guru Dev Ji went to the cave of the goddess of sea from this very place The people took light from that cave and built Gurmandir (temple) in the city. Now Guru Mandir is the name of a very big locality of Karachi. The building of the Gurdwara is strong and beautifully built. The Government of Pakistan has got it repaired recently spending lacs of rupees.

The Gurdwara Ratan Tala was established in 1932 in the heart of the city but during the government of military dictator General Ziaul Haq in 1984. The Nabi Bux Government College was established in its compound and the area was taken over by the Sindh education department. However, the gurdwara remained untouched and the Sikh community kept performing their rituals until some six months ago when police intervened on the pretext that "college students were disturbed by their worship," according to Sardar Ramesh Singh, chairman, Sikh Naujawan Sabah. Gurudwara Ratan Tala remains the only place of worship for Sikh community in Karachi after a gurdwara in Arambagh was sealed in 1995 after a clash between members of the Sikh and Hindu community

Gurdwara Karachi Sikh Sangat is a Gurdwara in Ranchore Lines in the city of Karachi in Sindh, Pakistan.

The Gurdwara Sikh Sangat in Ranchore Lines is the only centre of all religious activity since the gurdwaras at Preedy Street, Saddar and Arambagh have been sealed due to disputes. The temples at Manora, Bandar Road and Lee Market are not large enough to cater to the entire community.

The small-roomed Sikh Sangat Gurdwara is thus the place where devotees from all over the city convene during festivals. Around 80 worshippers can be accommodated in the room while the rest are hosted in the adjacent veranda and the langar khana (free-kitchen).

Built in 1910, the blue-walled gurdwara located off the congested and dilapidated roads of the compound exemplifies the basic principals of Sikhism - simplicity and modesty.

Gurdwara Khuhi Bhai Lalo Ji: Bhai Lab was a carpenter living at Eminabad. Guru Nanak Dev stayed with him on several occasions. Bhai Lalo's house became a dharmsal, meeting place for local followers of the Guru, and was later developed into Gurdwara which was named after a khuhi(narrow well) which existed even when the old house had crumbled.

Bhai Lalu, a resident of Saidpur (Eminabad), was a carpenter of Getaura caste. Guru Nanak stayed at his house when came he to Eminabad. It is the place where Gur Dev Ji composed the following bani (rhyme) in Talang rag:
A man by the name of Bhago Malik was a minor official of the ruler of Eminahad. He arranged a big feast for the Brahamins (Braham Bhoj) and also invited Gur Dev Ji who declined the invitation. This made him angry and he summoned Gur Dev Ji through official command. Gur Dev Ii squeezed his buttered bread with one hand and with other hand squeezed the plain bread of Bhai Lalu before all present in the court. Blood started trickling front Ith,rr's buttered bread and milk oozed out of plain bread of Lalu carpenter. Gur Dev Ji said that Ithago s Income contained the blood sucked from the poor whereas the income of this carpenter had the milk of his hard labour. It w,e. the reason behind my rejection of your rich food and that was why he had preferred the simple Dual earned through hard labour.

Lalu's house, where Guru Nanak Dev Ji had stayed, was made a gurudwara This is called Gurdwara Khuhi Bhai Lalo Ji (the well of Lalu). The well front which drinking water is still intact.

Gurudwara Chakki Sahib: Janamsakhis also mention Guru Nanak Dev's being made a prisoner at the hands of Babar's men. He was made to grind corn with a hand-driven millstone (chakki in Punjabi), but his captors were surprised to see that the millstone revolved by itself while the prisoner only poured grist into it. When the miracle was reported to Babar, he himself came the Guru, and after talking to him he set free not only the  but all other prisoners too, many of whom became the Guru's followers. The millstone was preserved as an object of veneration and much later, a Gurudwara was established where the millstone was kept, it is named Gurudwara Chakki Sahib. Its present building is a simple flat-roofed room with some ancillaries and a brick paved compound, inside the town. In Samvat 1578 when the armies of Emperor Baber captured Saidpur (Eminahad), they took Gur Nanak Dev Ji as prisoner along with many other people. He was put to hard labour on a g14mt, grinder. The officials saw that the grinder of Baha Ji was moving on its own. They inforn ed Itabal about it who called Baba Ji to his court and talked to Baha Ji. He was pleased and impressed by Baba Ji and ordered his immediate release. Baba Ji ordered the release of other prisoners and 11111 thousands of prisoners were released due to Baba Ji.

Gurudwara Rori Sahib, half-a-kilometre northwest of the town, marks the place where once Guru Nanak Dev, probably after the pillage of Eminabad by Babar in 1521, had to stay on a bed of broken stones (rori in Punjab). Its central building is a three-storey imposing structure of cut brick work and is pyramidal in design with a rectangular hall adjoining it on one side and a sarovar on the other. There is another separate domed room with a circumambulatory verandah. Eminabad before Partition was known for its week-long Baisakhi fair which included largely attended congregational gatherings of the Sikhs in Gurudwara Rori Sahib as well as the usual fun and a cattle fair. Eminabad is a famous town of Gujranwala district. Gurdwara Rod Sahib is located by a metalled road one and a half kilometer from the town. Jagat Guru Nanak Sahib had stayed on the seat of pebbles at this place and it was from here that he was taken as a prisoner by the invading armies of Babar, in Samvat 1578.
An imposing Gurdwara has been built over the place. A large pond and other buildings make it more graceful. A large estate worth Rs.5000 per annum and 9 squares of agricultural land is endowed to the Gurdwara from the era of Maharaja Ranjit Singh . Visakhi and Kattak Puranmashi festivals used to be held in the past, only Visakhi festival is held now where people from Gujranwala and its adjoining areas participate with fanfare.
The building of the Gurdwara was falling apart but the Govt of Pakistan stemmed the rot by constructing its boundary wall at. a cost of thousands of rupees.
