This is an invitation for journalist fraternity
all over the world but particularly in South Asia to join hands
with SOUTH ASIAN YOUTH ASSOCIATION (SAYA) and help humanity in
conflict resolution and in establishing a peaceful and balanced
human society on the face of this planet.
SAYA FOUNDATION is an organization, registered in Pakistan, of progressive and peace loving journalists from South Asian countries that have joined hands to resolve conflicts on the planet particularly in the South Asia.

objectives:
Without any prejudice and discrimination of religion, race, color, gender, and ideology, our objectives are:
To work for conflict resolution in the subcontinent among nations, societies, religious and ethnic groups.
To create awareness about religious harmony, gender equality, the importance of art and literature, misery, suffering, poverty and ignorance among the common innocent folk.
To provide comprehensive services in the fields of conflict resolution, religious harmony, gender equality, art & literature, education, community development and care for deserving children and youth.
To identify the conflicts within the society and between societies, and try to resolve them through creating awareness and taking every possible practical step towards its resolution.
To work for the promotion of Fine Arts and Literature in whatever way we can.
To work for providing the Artists better facilities and opportunities so that they might use the best of their abilities in producing their works that are always in the best interest of humanity.
To hunt particularly for women artists and writers with a view to promote their works so that the voice of the much neglected gender may reach the common man.
To work for the rights of women and to help them in gaining their rightful place in the society by creating awareness in the society and to make women capable of defending their rights against the oppressors.
To identify the women victims of sexual abuse, male oppression, drug addiction, bonded labour and other groups of oppressed, abused or exploited women who are deprived of their rights and opportunities for survival, growth, development and freedom of living according to their free will, and to inculcate public awareness of these scourges.
To identify the poor, the needy, the orphan and abandoned children/youth and minister to their needs in hostels, community based child care centers, homes for disabled children, crèches, day care centers, vocational training centers and in other types of projects.
To reach out and cater to the needs of poor children, street children, orphans, broken homes, child victims of sexual abuse, children affected by violence, riots or war, child drug addicts, bonded child laborers and other new groups of oppressed, abused or exploited children who are deprived of their rights and opportunities for their survival, growth and development and to inculcate public awareness of these scourges.
To inculcate in the people, the concept of service, to foster and develop values and attitudes such as dignity of labor and the spirit of entrepreneurship and to create in them confidence and self reliance by awakening their creative and productive abilities through various work experience and vocational training programs.
To help human beings affected by natural disasters such as flood, cyclone, earthquake, fire, drought and famine etc.
